Welcome to Families with Children from Asia. Founded in 1995, FCA supports adoptive families in the greater Albany, New York area. FCA's goals include providing socialization opportunities, cultural activities and information to waiting families. Our families have adopted children primarily from China but also from other countries. We are committed to diversity and welcome all adoptive families, regardless of origin. We hope you will visit us often to find out about upcoming events and to get information on adoption, cultural resources and more! Feel free to contact us for more information.
Half the Sky’s Children’s Earthquake Fund"Half the Sky has been working hard to get more information about the children impacted by the Sichuan and Chongqing earthquake. We know that it is not only children in welfare institutions who are in trouble. We know that hundreds of children have been separated from their families, have lost their parents, are hurt, traumatized and in pain. We know we must help; we have been working to figure how best to do so.", from the Half the Sky website Click here for more information. Click here for a PowerPoint Presentation of the Sichuan Earthquake Aftermath Be warned that the images shown are graphic!
